Removing Richmond Land Use Contracts

Blog by Diane Cardoso | November 9th, 2015

Richmond City Council has given first reading to a set of bylaws that will terminate 93 local Land Use Contracts (LUCs) that include Single Family lots and establish new zoning designations in their place. A special Public Hearing will be held on Tuesday, November 24 to consider the proposed bylaws.

Prior to the Public Hearing, a public information session will be held on November 5 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Richmond City Hall to allow interested parties to learn more information about the proposed bylaws and early termination process. City staff will be in attendance to answer questions and provide information on the process.
