How can you discover facts about a property?

Blog by Diane Cardoso | August 31st, 2016

There are several different ways you can discover facts about a property.  First, start by asking the Owner or discreetly talking to neighbours of the property. Second, visit local government websites or offices.  For Example, the City of Richmond has a disgnated heritage site map, and the City of Vancouver can confirm if the property was a grow up or illegal drug lab, plus the City of West Vancouver has a list of underground oil storage tanks.  Note:  not all munipalities provide the same information.
