Vancouver Airport looking to expand

Vancouver Airport Authority are requesting Board approval for a $400 million terminal expansion project that would add 10 gates and process 25 million passengers by 2020 to YVR. They are also looking into new options for expanding beyond 2020, that could cost more than $1 billion and add another 20 gates. Most of this financing will come from the Airport Improvement Fee, as well as general revenue.
